I woke up this morning with a tired face… The remedy: make up! (And yogurt)
Here are some tips on how to choose your right make up and how to apply it properly:
- Remember to apply the quantities you need and not more!
- For a smoother skin: Mix your foundation with a light SPF moisturizer before applying
- When choosing your eye concealer, pick one with one shade lighter than your skin
- When applying powder on your skin, avoid powdering under the eyes. It can make fine lines, wrinkles or even just tired eyes appear more obvious
- For oily skin, I recommend carrying with you facial oil-blotting sheets. It removes the excess oil and shine without disturbing your makeup
- When applying your blush make sure to blend your blush into your foundation well or it will tend to look unnatural and add 7 years to your look.
- It is nice to apply two shades of blush. The light one could be used on all the face (if close to your skin color and doesn’t shine) and other darker (or pink) one should be applied to the apple of the cheek. Blend well.(Personally I use 3, one for the whole face, one pink for the cheeks and one bronzer for the forehead nose and cheeks (where the sun normally hits))
Naturally yours,
